Reports suggest that Anshar Studios is spearheading the next installment of the Layers of Fear franchise.
Recent disclosures reveal that the third entry in the Layers of Fear series is not being developed by Bloober Team’s internal staff. Instead, the studio is collaborating with an external partner while retaining ownership of the IP and maintaining active creative oversight throughout the production process.
While the identity of this collaborator remains officially under wraps, industry speculation points toward the Polish-based Anshar Studios. This developer is a likely candidate, having previously partnered with Bloober Team on the comprehensive Layers of Fear collection.
Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno further clarified that the studio’s primary internal divisions are currently occupied with high-profile projects. One of these is a continued collaboration with Konami, building on the critical success of the Silent Hill 2 Remake.
Their second major endeavor, currently in pre-production, is a fresh original title codenamed “Project H.” This game is being developed by the team behind the recently launched Cronos: The New Dawn. According to Babieno, Project H is set to be the most ambitious undertaking in the studio’s history with significant commercial upside—though its budget is expected to remain consistent with that of Cronos.
