The promotional campaign for the highly anticipated Street Fighter reboot is rapidly gaining momentum.
Capcom’s official X account has unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming adaptation, featuring fresh snippets of high-octane combat choreography.
In tandem with this, Paramount Pictures has launched an international teaser on their YouTube channel, offering another perspective on the film’s production.
Set in 1993, the narrative follows Ryu and Ken Masters as they are drawn into the newly established World Warrior tournament following an invitation from Chun-Li. However, a sinister conspiracy simmers beneath the surface of the competition, forcing the fighters to confront both their rivals and the shadows of their own history.
The project is helmed by director Kitao Sakurai, known for his work on acclaimed series like “Beef” and “Twisted Metal.” The film boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, featuring Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, rapper 50 Cent, and David Dastmalchian, among others.
Street Fighter is scheduled to hit the big screen on October 16.
