We are delighted to inform you that we have successfully completed the certification process and are prepared to release the Economy 2.0 patch on Monday, June 24, at 10:00 CEST.
The submission process took slightly longer than anticipated due to some last-minute refinements implemented earlier this week. These adjustments have increased our confidence in the release. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional beta group for their invaluable feedback throughout this journey.
Such patches necessitate extensive testing. When issues arise, our developers meticulously investigate the causes and implement solutions before resubmitting the patch for further testing. This iterative process can sometimes be more protracted, especially when minor changes have extensive implications, given the patch’s impact on multiple aspects of the simulation.
Tomorrow is a national holiday in both Finland and Sweden, but we will be back on Monday, ready to roll out the patch. Although we are approaching our summer release hiatus, we have allotted sufficient time to provide comprehensive post-patch support should any critical issues emerge.
