11 years ago, on May 15, 2012, Max Payne 3 was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. But today there is a reason not only to celebrate the birthday of the third part, but also the fact that for a year now nothing has been heard about Announced Anniversary Reissue OST. Max Payne 3 – The Official Soundtrack (Anniversary Edition) was planned to be released digitally and on limited edition vinyl, featuring previously unreleased tracks from the game. original release (listen on youtube) consisted of music written specifically for the return of Max by HEALTH. The real pearl of that work was the song Tears, which plays during the shootout in the waiting room at the last levels – one of the best, in our humble opinion, combinations of gameplay and musical accompaniment.
A year after the announcement, we still do not know what happened to the project. Rockstar Games just keeps quiet about it. Actually, as is the case with the constantly promised in the reports (by the way, one of these days a new one is waiting for us) mobile versions GTA: Trilogy – Definitive Edition and announced VR versions of GTA: San Andreas (most likely its “final edition”).
