An update for Team Fortress 2 is now available. It will be applied automatically the next time you restart the game. Key changes and fixes include:
- Resolved a regression affecting the itemtest tool.
- Fixed several Botkiller flamethrowers that were not rendering the pilot light.
- Addressed a crash in CEntityBird::SpawnRandomBirds introduced by a recent change (GitHub contribution: Bitl).
- Corrected collection checklists that wrongly flagged certain items as “owned” (GitHub contribution: rabscootle).
- Stopped Vaccinator resistance icons from persisting after a player switches teams (GitHub contribution: Bakugo).
- Patched a memory leak in the sprite model system (GitHub contribution: CosminPerRam).
- Fixed a memory leak in the server browser blacklist check (GitHub contribution: CosminPerRam).
- Exit teleporters now correctly honor the mult_teleporter_recharge_rate attribute (GitHub contribution: The Fatcat).
- Ensured Thermal Thruster passive effects are removed when the item is unequipped mid-use or when the player is a Medic (GitHub contribution: Bakugo).
- Reverted recent respawn-room changes for the Gas Passer (GitHub contribution: Bitl).
- Updated CTeamControlPoint to accept a null caller on the SetOwner input (GitHub contribution: megascatterbomb).
- Updated CTFBot so it can use the Wrap Assassin’s alternate fire mode (GitHub contribution: Bitl).
- Added and updated several tournament medals.
