Team Fortress 2 Update from October 14, 2025
An update for Team Fortress 2 is now available and will be applied automatically the next time you restart the game. The primary changes in this patch are:
- Mad Drip — Fixed an issue with level-of-detail (LOD) handling.
- cp_cowerhouse — Addressed a regression introduced by the previous update.
- Sandy (Unusual) effect:
- Movement state:
- Adjusted sand cloud camera depth bias from 5 to 0 to prevent dust clouds from unintentionally occluding the player model.
- Idle state:
- Locked rotation on idle sand clumps so their fall is not influenced by the camera orientation.
- Changed camera depth bias for idle clouds from 10 to 5 to reduce unintended occlusion of the player model.
- Movement state:
- Sizzling (Unusual) effect:
- Reduced the sequence random value from 4 to 3 to prevent steam sprites from spinning rapidly at random.
