An update for Team Fortress 2 is now live and will install automatically the next time you restart the game. Key improvements include:
- Introduced “No Bullets” visual variants for the Tsar Platinum, Siberian Sweater, Heavy Metal and Bigger Mann on Campus.
- Refined the Tsar Platinum to eliminate clipping issues when using the “No Bullets” appearance.
- Added and refreshed several tournament medals.
- pl_citadel adjustments:
- Further fine-tuned payload collision behavior.
- Modified cover placement near the first checkpoint gate.
- Reduced instances of the drawbridge crushing players during deployment.
- Corrected projectile collisions with func_brush bounding boxes.
- Patched exploit that allowed buildings to spawn beneath the terrain.
- Fixed loophole enabling BLU players to enter the RED spawn area.
- Enhanced navmesh (community contribution by Koi).
- Applied various visual fixes and polish.
- Adjusted clipping regions for better consistency.
- cp_gravelpit_snowy updates:
- Enabled radial fog effects.
- Repositioned weather particles for improved atmosphere.
- Tweaked holiday event triggers.
- Eliminated displacement seam artifacts.
- Fixed footstep audio on clipped brushes.
- pl_aquarius enhancements:
- Resolved underwater speed-boost conflicts with various item effects.
- Fixed scenarios where players could become stuck in payload lifts.
- Corrected a rare issue where Megalodon could consume the payload without the final point capping (thanks, Chaos!).
- Reworked the catwalk above point A to improve flow and navigation.
- Reduced full ammo supply at point B from large to medium.
- Slightly raised the rubber catwalk above the C-lift.
- Sealed off the dead-end cubby near point C.
- Added a short barrier and eased the pipe jump on the D-shortcut platform.
