Starfield update of September 25, 2023
A new update for Starfield is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Store, and Steam. This patch improves both performance and gameplay. We’re also prepping for a larger update, as mentioned in our previous announcements. We deeply appreciate your ongoing feedback and commitment to Starfield, and we’re excited to continue this adventure with you.
Starfield Version 1.7.33 – Key Changes
General Updates
- Characters: We’ve fixed a glitch where some characters weren’t positioned correctly.
- Star Stations: Corrected a labeling mistake where Star Stations appeared as player-owned ships.
- Vendors: Made a fix to prevent full inventory access for certain vendors.
Graphics Improvements
- AMD (PC): Star lens flares will now display properly on AMD GPUs.
- Texture Clarity: Addressed an issue causing some textures to blur.
- Visual Comfort: Fixed a problem that might cause discomfort when browsing the inventory due to rapid visual changes.
Performance & Stability Enhancements
- Hand Scanner: Resolved occasional lag related to the Hand Scanner.
- General: Multiple tweaks have been made to reduce crashes and game freezes.
Ship Adjustments
- Displays: Items will no longer vanish from in-ship mannequins.
- Storage: Items in Razorleaf Storage Containers and Weapon Racks will remain even if you take over another ship.
