Hello Starfield gamers! We are happy to announce that our latest update, version 1.9.51.0, has been released. This big update contains over a hundred fixes and improvements. Most of these changes are aimed at making your gameplay smoother and more enjoyable, especially when it comes to quests.
You can see the full list of updates below, but the gist of it is this: we think we’ve finally solved the problem with annoying asteroids (fingers crossed!).

- Animations: We’ve fixed the issue where your character’s eyes wouldn’t blink in third person view. Also, no more weird animation glitches!
- Creatures and Enemies: Invisible creatures on some planets? Not anymore. Plus, we’ve sorted out a bug where enemies would awkwardly stand instead of fall.
- Crew and Companions: Companions now hang out correctly near the cockpit, and we’ve resolved a control-lock issue during conversations.
- General Fixes: Loads of general improvements, like resolving save game issues on PC, better map markers, and various stability tweaks.
- Graphics: We’ve upped our game with better widescreen support, more realistic shadows, improved character appearances, and tons of fixes for visual glitches.
- Outposts: Fixed terrain issues, bulldozed objects reappearing, and some other outpost-related bugs.
- Powers: Adjustments to the Phased Time power and Solar Flare Power now includes critical hits.
- Quests and Random Encounters: We’ve ironed out bugs in quests like ‘Absolute Power’, ‘Echoes of the Past’, and ‘Legacy’s End’, just to name a few.
- Ships and Ship Customization: Say goodbye to that pesky following asteroid, and enjoy improvements in ship customization and functionality.
- Skills: We’ve tweaked skills like Rejuvenation and Surveying for a better experience.
- Weapons and Items: Fixed issues with weapon scopes, sound effects, and more.
