Spotify is increasing subscription prices again. Rates are now $3 more expensive than Apple Music
The individual plan now costs $11.99 per month, and the family plan is $19.99. The price is already higher than comparable Apple Music plans.
In its newsletter, Spotify writes that prices are rising to allow the company to invest in and innovate its products. In recent years, the company has expanded into podcasts and audiobooks, but a lossless format or spatial audio has yet to appear.
