Sony canceled an online game based on God of War due to the failure of Concord
Journalist Jeff Grubb shared insider information indicating that Sony is in complete disarray following the failure of Concord and is hastily revisiting future online projects, closing them one by one.
As a result, a live-service game based on God of War, which was being developed by Bluepoint, the studio behind the remake of Demon’s Souls, was canceled. Additionally, Sony has shut down an unnamed online shooter from the creators of Days Gone, Bend Studio.
Previously, an online Spider-Man service game and an online project based on The Last of Us were also canceled. Rumors suggest they were almost fully completed and in the final stages of production.
