Rumor: iPhone 16 Pro to feature a 20% brighter display
Insider Instant Digital published in the Chinese social network Weibo that the new iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will feature displays with a peak brightness level of 1200 nits in SDR, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have a peak brightness in SDR equal to 1000 nits. It is expected that the HDR brightness will remain at 1600 nits, as with the current ‘pro’ models.
Earlier, Instant Digital accurately predicted the appearance of displays with nanotexture in the new iPad Pro.
