It is fascinating to observe that while Expedition 33 dominated the mainstream conversation throughout 2025, the Steam community found an unexpected darling in illicit simulation. In a bizarre turn of events, Schedule 1 wasn’t the only representative of its niche in the top 50; the eccentric “BRAZILIAN DRUG DEALER 3” managed to snag the 45th spot, impressively outperforming major releases such as Where Winds Meet and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Interestingly, before Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 became the awards season juggernaut it is today, the team at Sandfall was humble enough to wonder if the game would even break an 80 on Metacritic.
