Positioned as a souped-up version of the acclaimed 9800X3D, the AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D features a boost clock increased by 400 MHz. This new 8-core powerhouse reaches a maximum frequency of 5.6 GHz and retains a massive 104 MB of total cache, all while operating within a 120W TDP.
While we wait for independent benchmarks, AMD claims a gaming performance uplift of approximately 3% over the 9800X3D. Official pricing and a full market premiere are expected in the coming weeks.
