Terraria State of the Game – October 2026

Re-Logic and DR Studios are preparing the final touches for Terraria 1.4.6, which introduces Crossplay Phase One. The team finished development earlier this month and started extensive testing. Because this update adds a major feature across multiple platforms, Terraria 1.4.6 requires strict review during the submission process. A recent round of testing uncovered a few minor issues that need fixing before submission begins. Re-Logic expects to submit the update next week if testing goes well. Once first-party partners approve the update, Crossplay Phase One will launch.

TERRARIA 1.4.6 – FINAL TESTING AND SUBMISSION

Terraria 1.4.6 introduces Crossplay Phase One across multiple platforms. Re-Logic completed development earlier this month and moved the update into testing. Developers found a few bugs during recent tests that delayed the planned submission earlier this week. The team aims to submit the update next week once these fixes are complete.

INTRODUCING TERRARIA’S NEW COMMUNITY MANAGER!

Kerri, also known as Rat Queen, has joined Re-Logic as the new Community Manager for Terraria. She manages social media posts, replies on the Terraria Community Forums, chats on the Terraria Discord, assists with community events, and helps track bug reports on Steam and Reddit. Kerri favors mage builds and uses the Arc Surge weapon, and she enjoys interacting with player creations, builds, and artwork.

TMODLOADER NEWS – TML TEAM

The tModLoader team will release the regular monthly update for 1.4.4 on November 1st. This version brings security hardening features, updated library mod presentations, and modded grass support hooks and examples in the preview branch. Meanwhile, development on the 1.4.5 update continues with code contributions, bug reports, and testing from the community. Users can join the “1.4.5-dev” beta branch on Steam to test the update and report bugs.

TMODLOADER STEAM WORKSHOP

The tModLoader Steam Workshop features over 10,000 mods accessible through the in-game mod browser.

The Terraria Discord team hosted a Halloween-themed building contest where participants submitted spooky builds.

First Place: loku earned 40,000 Prize Points and the Event Winner role.

Second Place: ponky earned 30,000 Prize Points.
