How to Get Comms Modules in DMZ in Modern Warfare 4

Comment Views: 0

Tracking down comms modules in the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 can be quite a challenge. Because this epic-tier crafting material is exceptionally scarce, finding it blindly is nearly impossible. You will need comms modules to unlock uncommon ingredient fabrication—alongside high-tenacity fibers—expand your weapon stash, and craft essential gear like fulton drop markers. While you can eventually fabricate them yourself once epic-tier printing is unlocked, reaching that milestone requires you to first secure these elusive components.

If you are trying to fast-track your progress in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, here are the most reliable areas to search for comms modules.

Despite their rarity, comms modules have a chance to spawn across several distinct zones on the map. Your best bets include the server rooms situated within the Netshin Tech Complex, the cluster of buildings directly east of Deadtown along the riverbank, and the DBN Headquarters inside The Grid.

An effective strategy for targeting DBN Headquarters is to queue up the “Operation Grid Assault” story mission, which drops you right at the facility’s doorstep. Proceed upstairs according to your mission objectives and thoroughly search the computer terminals and office spaces. This is precisely where the comms module shown above was recovered. As an added advantage, this spot sits conveniently close to the Netshin Tech Complex.

Additionally, keep a sharp eye out for crashed drones scattered throughout Hajin, as they frequently contain comms modules, though their placement varies with each deployment. Finally, while the Cheonwang Peak Array serves as another viable farming spot, be warned: the area is heavily fortified with hostile forces, making it exceptionally hazardous to clear—particularly for solo operators.
