Earlier this summer Collins-Laflamme said he had offered Riot Games ten times what he believed Hytale’s “true market value” to be. The final purchase price and the exact terms of that deal remain undisclosed.
There is no sign Riot negotiated generously, and it appears unlikely Collins-Laflamme will see a quick return on his outlay—unless Hytale reaches a breakout, Minecraft-scale success.
