Five games leaving Xbox Game Pass in early January 2026
Microsoft has revealed the initial wave of titles set to depart from Xbox Game Pass in early January 2026. These games are currently flagged under the “Leaving Soon” category within the official Xbox mobile application.
Notable departures include the narrative-driven adventure Road 96, the cyberpunk action-RPG The Ascent, and the high-profile 2024 soulslike release Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn.
The following titles are scheduled to exit Game Pass on January 15, 2026:
- Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn — Console, PC, Cloud
- Neon White — Console, PC, Cloud
- Road 96 — Console, PC, Cloud
- The Ascent — Console, PC, Cloud
- The Grinch: Christmas Adventures — Console, PC, Cloud
Subscribers can purchase these games at a minimum 20% discount until their departure date. Some titles, such as Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, are seeing even steeper price cuts of up to 75% as part of the ongoing Xbox Countdown Sale.
While the full roster of new additions for early 2026 has yet to be disclosed, Microsoft is expected to provide a comprehensive update on the service’s lineup sometime next week.
