Ready or Not Mapping Competition 2.0
Attention Officers!

Today, we delve deeper into the intricacies of our mapping contest.

Mapping Contest 2.0

Unlike our inaugural competition where contestants were given free rein to create whatever inspired them, this time participants are tasked with crafting a map that draws heavily from an existing one, whether from the past or present.

You are invited to strip down an existing map and completely reconstruct it with your own creative vision, modify it as you deem fit, or breathe new life into a classic map with your unique perspective. It’s important to note that the extent of transformation will be a key consideration. For instance, a siege staged on a meticulously rebuilt and refurbished Twisted Nerve would garner more favorable attention than merely altering the weather component of Port Hokan.

Maps failing to meet a basic level of innovation—such as merely enhancing the number of AI in a standard RON map—will not qualify for judging.

Regardless of the chosen approach, the fundamental requirement is that the maps should be derived from either current or past VOID Maps. Participants are allowed to extract and modify existing game maps or recreate elements from extracted assets.

To make things simpler, all previous maps and blockouts are permissible for use in this competition.

As in the prior contest, winners will receive cash prizes, with more rewards anticipated as we finalize additional support.

First Place: $3,000 USD
Second Place: $2,000 USD
Third Place: $1,000 USD
