Subnautica 2 Developers Share Details About Their “Underwater Survival Game”

• The game starts on a completely new planet with a lot of biomes and unique creatures;

• Players will be pioneers sent to explore an unknown world, but something went wrong. Now, they need to adapt to the unknown environment, using genetic enhancements, and continue their mission;

• They have updated the building system, allowing the creation of advanced underwater vehicles, tools, and bases;

• We will study new forms of life, collect samples, and use them to develop the genetics of our own body;

• There will be both a single-player mode and co-op for up to three players.

The game will be released in early access in 2025.
