Developers of the popular Halide camera app for iPhone have introduced Kino, an app for professional video shooting

The app allows shooting on iPhone with a “cinematic” look. One of the main features is the ability to apply color correction settings with a single touch using industry professional presets. This feature is called Instant Grade. Users can also upload their own LUTs.

The app is suitable for both amateurs and professionals, as it allows using original Apple Log frames and deeply customizing all settings manually.

Another important feature is the automatic setting of “cinematic” blur – AutoMotion. Professionals can also adjust everything manually.

Videos can be exported not only to “Photos” but also to “Files” or directly to an external hard drive via USB-C.

The full range of features is, of course, available only on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, but the app works on any iPhone that supports iOS 17.

The price in the Russian App Store at the moment is 899 rubles, but only until Friday. After that, the app will increase in price to 1890 rubles.
