On Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for December 2025. The free-to-claim games, available beginning Tuesday, December 2, 2025, are Lego Horizon Adventures, Neon White, The Outlast Trials, Killing Floor 3, and Synduality: Echo of Ada.
- Lego Horizon Adventures — A playful retelling of Guerilla Games’ Horizon universe, this Lego adaptation reimagines Horizon Zero Dawn with a lighter tone and family-friendly presentation. The title is offered for PlayStation 5.
- Neon White — Angel Matrix’s fast-paced FPS platformer that rewards speed and precision as you clear levels and dispatch enemies. The game will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
- The Outlast Trials — A first-person horror experience built for solo play or cooperative sessions with up to three friends. Survival hinges on stealth, strategy, and sometimes a frantic dash for safety. Playable on PS4 and PS5.
- Killing Floor 3 — A cooperative first-person shooter focused on intense combat against hordes of “zeds,” offering a variety of weaponry and class systems. This entry is available for PlayStation 5.
- Synduality: Echo of Ada — A PvPvE extraction shooter released earlier this year, where players pilot mechs to confront aliens and other teams in high-stakes skirmishes. Available for PS5 via PlayStation Plus.
The December 2025 PlayStation Plus titles will remain redeemable through Monday, January 5, 2026. Subscribers who haven’t claimed November’s games still have time to pick up Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator before they expire on Monday, December 1, 2025.
PlayStation Plus is offered in three tiers. The Essential tier—the baseline subscription—includes online multiplayer, a monthly rotation of free PS4 and PS5 games, cloud save storage, and exclusive discounts in the PlayStation Store. Pricing for PlayStation Plus Essential is $79.99 per year, $24.99 for three months, or $9.99 per month.
