First information and screenshots of Deadlock from Valve – a new multiplayer shooter
Insiders report that Valve is preparing a heroic multiplayer shooter where two teams of 6 players battle on four lines. This results in a mix of Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2 in the style of fantasy steampunk.
The game will have elements of “tower defense”, and alpha testers describe the gameplay as dynamic and chaotic.
Valve even considered science-fiction elements in the spirit of Half-Life and Portal, but abandoned these ideas after negative feedback from testers.
No other information or announcement dates are yet available. Valve does not comment on the leak.
