The historical drama Nuremberg is scheduled to arrive in Russian theaters on March 12, 2026, according to reports from The Film Distributor’s Bulletin.
Distributed by World Pictures (the company behind The Substance), the film stars Academy Award winners Russell Crowe (Gladiator) and Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody).
The narrative unfolds in 1945, centering on American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Malek) as he conducts intensive interviews with Hitler’s second-in-command, Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring (Crowe). While Kelley seeks to identify the psychological traits that separate high-ranking war criminals from the rest of humanity, he finds himself forming an unexpectedly deep and complex bond with Göring.
The film is an adaptation of Jack El-Hai’s 2014 non-fiction book, The Nazi and the Psychiatrist. James Vanderbilt, known for his work on Zodiac, wrote and directed the project. The ensemble supporting cast features Michael Shannon, Leo Woodall, and Richard E. Grant.
Nuremberg made its global debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, earning favorable reviews from critics and currently maintaining a 72% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
