Not Skyrim or Fallout 4: Todd Howard names the game he’s most proud of
Those who experienced Fallout 76 version 1.0 firsthand are unlikely to forget the “adventure” anytime soon.
Todd Howard recently appeared as a guest on the Kinda Funny Games podcast. During the conversation, the topic turned to Fallout 76, with the host asking if he and Bethesda view the game as a vital and successful addition to the studio’s legacy.
The developer took a moment to reflect on the title’s infamously rocky debut:
Howard expressed a deep sense of pride regarding Fallout 76, noting that while development was grueling, the post-launch phase proved to be an even more formidable challenge:
He pointed out that very few projects in the industry share a similar trajectory, as many titles launch and quickly disappear. In contrast, Howard remarked that “Fallout 76 is still here: it maintains a massive audience, delivers great performance metrics, and remains a significant and relevant game to this day.”
