This year has been exceptionally active for No Man’s Sky, featuring six updates, including the expansive Worlds Update. Just a few weeks ago, we launched The Cursed update, bringing a thrilling Halloween atmosphere that players have thoroughly enjoyed.
Today marks the release of some long-awaited features that have been in development for years.
Introducing Cross-Save
We are excited to announce that Cross-Save support is now available on all platforms. This highly anticipated feature allows you to switch effortlessly between devices—whether you’re exploring from your console on the couch, continuing your journey on the go with a Switch or Steam Deck, building intricate bases on a powerful PC, or experiencing the universe in immersive Virtual Reality.
No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save across a wide range of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2, and PCVR. Implementing Cross-Save was a complex task, especially with the vast number of players and their extensive save data.
