Greetings, Flippers!
We have a little something to add some excitement to your April Fools’ Day celebrations!
This marks our inaugural “Mini-Update” – a fresh term we’ve coined for smaller content additions to House Flipper 2.
New Features:
• Six mischievous items for all your April Fools’ pranking fun!
• A new mug that lets you upload your own custom pictures!
Adjustments:
• A minor glitch led to the loss of sound files, but we’ve engineered a temporary fix and are working towards a lasting solution. (47 new sounds are available, but you can switch back to the original ones from the main menu on April 1st only)
Resolutions:
• The Pinnacove suburbs achievement now registers correctly.
• Corrected the issue of unremovable sills in the newly added house, “The Alligator Bar” in Old Pinnacove. This patch is applicable only to newly purchased houses.
Co-op Updates:
• You can now exit a co-op game during loading through the Back button (confirmation will be prompted). This feature is intentional now!
• New gameplay elements like wall finish materials, paint roller mode, and color synchronize seamlessly.
• Third-person animations have been incorporated for tool switching and spray usage.
• Added notifications for “Lobby Full” and “Local Connection Not Possible”.
• Crossplay status can be toggled in the client join view.
Co-op Fixes:
• Time of day synchronization has been rectified.
• When the host is in the main menu, clients will join in the same menu.
• New players joining while others are connecting or cleaning windows will not experience awkward animations.
• Multiple players cleaning the same stain will no longer slow down progress. Collaboration makes cleaning effective, not harder!
❗ Safety Precautions Taken:
• Removed the “before and after” gallery, as it was unpopular with at least three players.
• Removed co-op mode to enhance the solo gaming experience.
• Unfortunately, all your mod.io houses were deleted due to forgetting to renew the mod.io premium subscription… a great opportunity for you to upload fresh creations!
• Streamlined performance by making all textures monochrome (gray).
• Eliminated the paint roller – now you’ll need to apply paint manually for a unique experience.
• Resolved the issue of tap water being exclusively cold.
• Houses larger than 25m², possessing more than 20 items, or featuring more than five light sources have been removed to avert crashes.
• Added an “ive-got-a-crash-on-you” command for controlled game crashes. Use at your own discretion!
This is the second step in our Q1/Q2 2025 House Flipper 2 Roadmap.
