Back in January, the long-lasting NYC venue Webster Hall introduced that they’d reopen this yr. Now, the venue has introduced its first run of performers of their newly renovated space. After a gap evening happening in late April, Patti Smith and Her Band will carry out on May 1, with extra reveals all year long from Sharon Van Etten, Built to Spill, MGMT, Big Thief, Real Estate, Tinariwen, and extra.

Webster Hall closed its doorways in 2017, following a sale to AEG Presents and Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment. In an announcement, companions at Bowery Presents John Moore and Jim Glancy stated, “As we honor the rich history this venue holds with fans and artists alike, we are excited to begin this new chapter with artists that we love and respect.” Check out the venue’s present lineup here.
