There’s no magic or monsters here. Players will focus on constructing their own castle, growing a settlement, and taking part in large-scale battles. The developers promise a sweeping narrative and careful attention to historical detail.
The project is being created by a small indie team from the Czech Republic. Studio director Filip Husak launched a campaign on Kickstarter, raising more than $59,000 of the $100,000 goal within three days. At this rate, the campaign appears likely to reach its target.
The creator emphasizes that Legacy of Valor will feature realistic real-time combat and a deep economic-strategy system. The primary objective is to develop the castle and its adjacent town, which will serve as a base for military expeditions and commercial ventures.
