The sports dramedy "Marty Supreme" has officially reached a global box office milestone of $147 million, cementing its status as the highest-grossing project in A24 history.
The film successfully overtook the previous record-holder, the Oscar-winning "Everything Everywhere All at Once," which earned $142 million. Of its total haul, "Marty Supreme" generated $93 million in the United States and $54 million across international markets. In Russia, the movie brought in 275 million rubles.
Starring Timothée Chalamet, the film chronicles the life of the ambitious table tennis legend Marty Reisman. Directed by Josh Safdie ("Uncut Gems"), the production became a critical powerhouse, garnering eight Academy Award nominations and earning Chalamet a Golden Globe for his lead performance.
