The festive holiday feature "Letter to Father Frost," produced by Gorky Film Studio, has officially arrived on the Kinopoisk and Wink streaming services.
The story centers on Petr Bezuglov (Anton Filipenko), a pragmatic attorney whose life is strictly defined by professional obligations and rigid protocols. His world is turned upside down when his young son, Vanechka (Kostya Karimov), discovers Petr’s long-forgotten childhood letters to Father Frost and drops them into a magical mailbox. Petr’s youthful imaginings suddenly burst into reality, sparking delightful mayhem—from rivers of soda and toys coming to life to the surreal arrival of Natalia Oreiro as his Russian spouse.
The production features an ensemble cast including Ivan Okhlobystin, Kristina Asmus, Ekaterina Temnova, Miron Provorov, and Dima Bilan. The film was helmed by director Kirill Kuzin, noted for his work on "Sergiy Against the Evil Spirits."
"Letter to Father Frost" stands as a centerpiece production for Gorky Film Studio’s landmark anniversary year and represents the studio’s inaugural major release as a member of the Moscow Film Cluster.
