
Additional images include close-ups of the Vibroblade that reveal the level of craftsmanship Aspyr applied to the model. Other mock-ups in the set show two blaster designs, a toolkit, and various environmental props intended to populate the level.
According to a report from MP1st, the images originate from the portfolio of a former Aspyr artist. That developer remained with the studio through 2022 and likely contributed to portions of the Knights of the Old Republic remake work.
The remake was initially announced in 2021 and was later reported to have moved to Saber Interactive. Since then, official updates have been sparse, apart from occasional glimpses tied to Aspyr’s tenure on the project. We will publish further information if and when it becomes available.
The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake developer maintains the RPG is still active in development and has received new financial backing to support its completion.
