In the meantime, many details on the game system have been unveiled at the end of this new trailer. Like the fact that the game will be more lively than the previous episodes, that it will offer a new system of defense and counter-attack: the Shatter Strike, to trigger the Max Mode to be more aggressive, while the Quick version of this Max Mode cancels attacks and prolongs combos. If the furies (called Rush) will of course be there, the Climax system will also be present in order to execute attacks which will be able to empty 3/4 of the life gauge. To believe the excited voice-over of the trailer, this is the most successful system of the entire KOF saga, with the added bonus of the integration of netcode rollback for online battles, many game modes so as not to sink into weariness and many other bonuses.
