🤔 It’s April Fools’ Day! (Small Update!)

🄳 Gotcha! April Fool’s!

Greetings Flippers!

We’re here to sprinkle a bit of joy on your April Fools’ Day with something entertaining!
Introducing our debut ā€œMini-Updateā€ – our innovative term for smaller content enhancements in House Flipper 2.

šŸ“‹ Let’s quickly glance over the latest updates:

New Additions:
• 6 items inspired by April Fools to add some mischief!
• A freshly designed mug with an option to upload your own picture!

Modifications:
• We misplaced a few sound files but crafted a temporary fix overnight. A lasting solution is in progress, so bear with us. (47 fresh sounds added, with an option to revert to the originals in the main menu! Only available on April 1st)

Corrections:
• The Pinnacove suburbs achievement is now properly acknowledged.
• Addressed the issue of non-removable sills in the newly introduced property, ā€œThe Alligator Barā€ in Old Pinnacove. This correction applies to properties purchased from now on.

Co-op Adjustments:
• You can now exit a co-op game with the Back button during loading (after confirming in a prompt). This is a feature, not a flaw!
• Enhanced synchronization of gameplay elements: wall finish materials on hand, along with the paint roller’s mode and color.
• Introduced third-person animations for switching cleaning tools and using spray cans.
• Added new notifications for ā€œLobby Fullā€ and ā€œLocal Connection Not Possibleā€.
• Toggle crossplay status from the client join view.

Co-op Resolutions:
• Fixed the day and night synchronization issue.
• When the host is in the main menu, newcomers also join directly to the main menu.
• Synchronized player animations to prevent awkward poses if joined while others are connecting or washing windows.
• Collaborative cleaning of the same stain no longer decreases efficiency. Teamwork should streamline, not complicate!

ā— Moreover, we’ve safeguarded you from potentially harmful features:
• Removed the ā€œbefore and afterā€ gallery as some users disapproved.
• Discontinued co-op mode to let you relish the solitude of solo play.
• Deleted your mod.io houses because of an oversight in our premium subscription payment, creating a thrilling opportunity to showcase new designs!
• Simplified all textures to a singular gray hue for improved performance.
• Eliminated the paint roller – now you’ll need to immerse your hands in paint and apply it directly to the walls.
• Corrected the plumbing to ensure both hot and cold water flow.
• Removed houses larger than 25m² or those with more than 20 items or 5 light sources to avoid unexpected crashes.
• Introduced an ā€œive-got-a-crash-on-youā€ command, allowing you to intentionally crash your game at will. Proceed with caution!

This signifies our second milestone in the Q1 / Q2 2025 House Flipper 2 Roadmap.
Stay tuned for one of the most significant yearly events for the House Flipper Franchise!
