Kingdom Hearts IV: surprise, Square Enix releases the 1st trailer with gameplay in it

It’s clearly something that nobody expected on this early sunny Sunday afternoon, especially in France where all eyes and minds are riveted on the 1st round of presidential votes, but in Japan, it’s is a great time to celebrate 20 years of the Kingdom Hearts series. Inevitably, Square Enix had organized an event accordingly during which mobile games were highlighted. But there was a surprise at the end of this online ceremony, namely the very first trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV. A surprise that fans are currently commenting on social networks, especially since this episode contrasts radically with previous opuses, with a desire to offer less cartoon graphics, in a universe that also seems to take place in real life, but which is none other than the city Quadratum. Sora also seems to have grown physically, but his BG cut has remained the same. We first see him waking up from a sofa before he discovers the city which is fairly quickly attacked by a heartless Darkside version. We then see our hero summon his keyblade which also serves as a grappling hook to move more quickly. This is also the only moment of gameplay that we will see from the game, before the end of the trailer reveals Donald Duck and Goofy who seems to be looking for a person in a poorly lit cave. As of now, no platform or release date has been announced, but according to recent rumors, Kingdom Hearts 4 isn’t coming anytime soon.
