Pikachu’s sense for trend extends to carrying his coach’s hats.
Japanese Pokémon Sun and Moon gamers are in for a deal with with an upcoming promotion; extra hats for Pikachu to put on.
The little critter will get to don one of many six iconic Ash Ketchum hats, in addition to studying new Z-Move, 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt.
The promotion is to rejoice the premiere of the sequence’ I Choose You movie, which hits theaters on July 15 in Japan. Beginning in April, every ticket bought will include a code to redeem for a hat-wearing Pikachu and the Pikashumium Z-Crystal, that unlocks the Z-Move.
According to Polygon, the codes are single use and the hat Pickachu finally ends up carrying will depend on when gamers redeem them.
There’s no phrase on a Western launch date for the movie, which is a re-telling of the sequence’ first episodes, or whether or not the identical promotion will happen alongside it.
Although I think about that demand for a Sun and Moon Pikachu in a hat could be overwhelming, so fingers crossed.
