Insiders report that the Warhammer 40,000 adaptation is close to being canceled due to Amazon’s demands
It’s all because of the “progressive” quotas that Amazon is imposing on Games Workshop—adding the first woman from Adeptus Custodes to the lore wasn’t enough. The company wants an entire adaptation about female Space Marines, without the involvement of the original book publishers in the scriptwriting.
It also turns out that the contract with Henry Cavill, who was supposed to be a producer and play one of the characters, was never finalized.
