Hello everyone,
We are releasing another minor hotfix across all platforms today! Hotfix #28 is set to address specific crashes and obstacles, incorporate a selection of gameplay bug corrections, and rectify some issues with the Mod Manager.
This update also resolves a multiplayer issue where certain players would get stuck in an enable-disable loop in the Mod Verification Window when attempting to deactivate a mod unavailable to the host.
MODDING
- On PS5, the ‘Continue’ button will now function like the ‘Load Game’ screen, preventing you from initiating a game if any mod issues are detected.
- On consoles, when loading a saved game with unresolved mod issues, the Mod Verification Window will stop repeatedly prompting you to re-download or uninstall mods once the necessary action has been completed.
- Addressed an issue where mod dependencies were not loading in the correct order after enabling or disabling certain mods.
Mod Manager
- Resolved the issue of the animated download bar not appearing in the Mod Verification Window after selecting ‘Download’.
- Fixed the horizontal scrollbar on the Mod Details page not being centered vertically between the arrows.
- Rectified a glitch that was preventing opening the Mod Manager on PC when using a controller.
- Updated the button prompts in the Mod Details page to ensure they refresh correctly when using a controller.
- Corrected the display of filter tags in the Mod Manager for localized languages, ensuring the English string appears as a fallback if there’s a translation issue.
- The mod browser scrollbar now resets to the top when you move to the previous or next page.
- On PS5, the Mod Manager accurately reflects the remaining memory after uninstalling a mod.
- Fixed a crash that could happen when navigating between pages in the Mod Manager.
- Fixed clients in a multiplayer game getting stuck in an enable–disable loop in the Mod Verification Window when trying to disable a mod unavailable to the host.
- Updated the ‘Explicit Content’ filter to ‘Mature Content’.
- Renamed the Mod Issues window to ‘Mod Verification Window’ and updated its description for clarity.
GAME
Gameplay
- Enhanced loading times for players with numerous mods installed.

- Fixed Honour Mode features, such as Legendary Actions, no longer carry over to non-Honour-Mode games if an Honour Mode save was previously loaded.
- On PS5, resolved the issue where the DualSense lightbar updated its colours every frame when a new user logged in with a different controller.
- Fixed Wyll defaulting to negative greeting options even when he has a positive disposition towards you.
- Fixed the misalignment of character models in the Trade UI when switching between trade and barter modes using a controller.
Crashes and Blockers
- Rectified a crash that occurred when trying to load a playthrough instead of a specific savegame within that session.
- Fixed a crash that could happen during savegame loading.
- On PS5, fixed a potential crash when exhibiting extensive colour changes on the DualSense lightbar.
