GTA: Trilogy – Is the “Definitive Edition” Fix Still Not Complete?

Two weeks ago, a major patch was released for the PC and console versions of GTA: Trilogy — Definitive Edition, which significantly enhances the gaming experience. Although a few were dissatisfied, the improvements were well received. The studio Video Games Deluxe, which took on the task of fixing the flawed collection, thanked everyone who appreciated their work.

GTA: Trilogy – Is the “Definitive Edition” Fix Still Not Complete?

However, this does not mean that the work is complete. All three games still have plenty of bugs, leaves still hang in the air, from Tommy’s room in Ocean View, the old lighting can still be seen even with the classic setting turned on, and the model of young Claude from 1992 was inexplicably replaced with the model from 2001… One of the issues was even highlighted by the Rockstar Games technical support staff. Presumably, because it is one of those that can hinder progress in the story. If during the Caligula’s Casino heist the doors fail to blow up, the “rock-stars” advise to fail the mission and save manually, then load the save (resulting in already tainted statistics…).

The response also indicated that the developers are aware of it and are looking for a solution. The solution they provided is temporary, which means the “definitive edition” might receive new updates in the foreseeable future.
