GTA 6: Two Opinions on This Year’s Release

The main question of the year is, of course, whether GTA 6 will be released in 2025?

Georgio Jankowski, a senior talent acquisition specialist at Rockstar Games, in his New Year’s greeting doesn’t directly state that the game should be expected within the next 12 months, but he attaches an illustration with the caption “Coming in 2025.” The extent to which an employee from this department might be informed is debatable.

It’s unlikely, however, that Jason Schreier’s opinion, the most renowned figure in game journalism, can be easily dismissed. He already expressed his thoughts a month ago, and yesterday reiterated his speculation in a recent article dedicated to what will transpire in the gaming industry this year.

The publisher, Take-Two, states that the most anticipated game of all time is still scheduled for fall 2025. But companies say a lot. The next Grand Theft Auto is a huge and ambitious project; the pressure on the creators is enormous. Rockstar Games vowed to avoid excessive overtime in the final months of development. I expect GTA 6 to be delayed to 2026.
