“Gravity Falls” May Return to TV Screens After 8 Years
This hint was dropped by Disney’s Executive Vice President of Television, Meredith Roberts. According to her, Disney always keeps in touch with the creator of the cartoons and books of the franchise, Alex Hirsch, so “never say never.”
Since the animated show’s closure in 2016, Hirsch has released several more “Gravity Falls” books, including “Tales of the Strange and Unexplained,” “Lost Legends,” and “Journal 3.” Hirsch is set to release another book soon. He also continues to collaborate with Disney on franchise-themed shorts.
There is still no official confirmation of a new season of “Gravity Falls” coming out.
