It is brought to the attention of citizens, especially owners of computer gaming centers, that in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, the distribution of videos and games containing immoral and violent content is strictly prohibited.
In particular, according to the historical-cultural examination by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the games “COUNTER STRIKE” and “GRAND THEFT AUTO” (GTA) include elements of violence, murder, and robbery.
Reviews by law enforcement agencies also show that unfortunately, some young people and teenagers, being regularly engaged with such games, fall under their negative influence and commit various crimes.
Therefore, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dushanbe requires all owners of such centers to prevent the distribution of these games in the future. At the same time, citizens should monitor their children and not allow them to play games that promote killings and violence.
The city police will conduct raids and inspections.
