Google has boosted its neural networks, search, music, and generative video – introducing Project Astra, Music AI Sandbox, and Veo
At the Google I/O conference, the company showcased the next generation of its own neural networks and language models.
For instance, the search has been upgraded to a neural search – now you will be able to ask complex questions and get detailed answers right through the search bar. It’s a sort of counter to the “Neuro” by Yandex.
Project Astra is a response to yesterday’s announcement of GPT-4o, which will communicate with you as a live person, analyzing surroundings through a camera, understanding context and recognizing objects. The future from the movie “Her” starts somewhere here.
Music AI Sandbox, developed together with YouTube with the support of musicians and songwriters, will assist them in creating compositions, full-fledged instrumental parts, and samples from scratch.
Veo is a Sora-like tool for creating neural network videos, which Donald Glover happily advertised in his film studio.
