Horipad Gamepad for Steam to be Sold Beyond Japan
Sales of the controller, developed in collaboration with Valve, began earlier this year in Japan, but the global release is just happening now.
Horipad is a gamepad from the brand Hori, designed specifically for Steam. It supports Steam Input technology, with a button in the center for accessing the launcher overlay.
Unfortunately, the device does not have any vibration feedback. However, it includes a gyroscope, capacitive sensor sticks, and “paddles.” There is also an exclusive app available to remap the buttons.
The manufacturer promises up to 12 hours of battery life and connectivity via Bluetooth or USB-C. Four colors are available: yellow, purple, white, and black.
Pre-orders have already started on Amazon for $59 (~5,900 ₽).
