As reported by the reputable data miner Hypex, the beloved Fortnite OG will make its comeback in a fresh permanent mode coinciding with the release of Battle Royale’s sixth Chapter this December. This revelation has already captivated the community’s interest on X, originating from an “anonymous source,” with Hypex asserting that he can “authenticate most” of the details disclosed.
The unknown insider suggests that the return of OG will remain truer to classic Fortnite than November 2023’s mini-Season, with all ten Seasons from Chapter 1 purportedly being included through monthly rotations. Last year’s Fortnite OG only featured a select few Seasons, disappointing many who felt significant parts of the game were overlooked. Besides comprehensive Seasonal coverage, the revitalized mode will showcase “only OG loot” and support both Zero Build and the traditional Battle Royale.
Hypex anticipates that Epic will make an official announcement shortly, possibly during The Game Awards, slated for December 12, 2024. As always, we will continue to bring you the latest updates.
