The acclaimed manga franchise is set to expand with the announcement of Gachiakuta: The Game.
A debut trailer for Gachiakuta: The Game was recently unveiled. The project is being spearheaded by the South Korean studio Com2uS, the developer globally recognized for the success of Summoners War.
This new addition to the Gachiakuta universe is positioned as a survival action RPG. While specific gameplay mechanics remain under wraps, the promotional footage provides a glimpse into the high-octane combat and signature attacks of various characters.
The original Gachiakuta manga follows the story of Rudo, a teenager wrongfully accused of his foster father’s murder and cast into the Abyss. Surviving the fall, he finds himself in a putrid underworld swarming with monsters birthed from refuse. In this desolate landscape, order is maintained by specialized warriors known as “Cleaners.”
An official release date for Gachiakuta: The Game has yet to be announced. However, the title is slated for launch on PC via Steam, as well as on Xbox and PlayStation 5 consoles.
