As many years of experience in GTA Online show, you should never rush to review new products. Rockstar, according to the old tradition, completes and fixes errors a few days after the release of updates. The appearance of the “Contract” was no exception – on Friday night (a couple of days after the release of the update) they made important changes to the main mechanics of the update – players were given the opportunity to complete the story in single sessions.
Franklin Clinton & Partner
After the events Gta 5, Franklin Clinton decided to start a business to solve the delicate issues of the wealthy of Los Santos. He married Tanisha and they had children (read the dialogues). They live in the same mansion.
In general, as soon as you buy one of the four available Agencies, you become that Franklin partner. Together with him and the hacker Imani, you have to complete interesting tasks. Dr. Dre

The player will have to go through many missions to find out the answer to the question who is behind the theft of Dre’s mobile phone – after all, he stores all the important information in this tube. After completing the final mission, you will receive 1,000,000 GTA $. In fact, we are faced with a classic system of robberies, broken down into chapters (as in Doomsday) and preparatory tasks (as in “Tuners of Los Santos”).
The mission screensavers are somewhat lengthy, but well-designed. Rockstar did not flinch in front of the conditional agenda hysteria, and properly “fried” everyone from skin color to the now fashionable NFT tokens. And it came as a big surprise to me – I thought that the plot would be sustained in more insipid tolerant dialogues, but no – the developers have not yet forgotten what Grand Theft Auto is. Test!
Security contracts
In between VIP tasks to find Dr. Dre, you will complete various missions for regular clients. Someone wants to return their car, and someone desperately needs to deal with the whole gang. Complete several of these contracts and you will be able to call Franklin and request these missions without visiting the Agency.
Payphone contract killings
The Grand Theft Auto series began with someone giving assignments using payphones. This important component of the series wandered from part to part. If we compare the new tasks, then they are more similar to those that were performed by Tommy Vercetti from GTA: Vice City. But this is not just a carbon copy, but rather a mixture of Weiss and … Hitman! You can not just slap a custom target, but also get a decent bonus if you fulfill the conditions of the murder (hold → to see information about the conditions of bonuses).
Contract kills will become available to the player if he fulfills two conditions: fulfills at least 5 security contracts and answers the first contract murder call from Franklin. Please note that a call from Franklin can take a long time, so be patient.
For fulfilling the conditions of a contract murder, you are entitled not only to a cash bonus, but also to special figurines that will appear on the shelves in the Agency (visit your office).
Lamar Davis and Franklin Clinton
In addition, you will get a rare chance to complete the storyline tasks of LD Organics (produce weed) on behalf of the ever-joking Lamar Davis and the serious Franklin Clinton. Your “transfers” to the bodies of your friends will take place after consuming herbal products at Record A Studios.
Arsenal and new weapons
As you know, three new weapons have been added to multiplayer: a heavy rifle, a stun gun and a compact EMP grenade launcher. However, the last two weapons can only be purchased at the Arsenal (purchased as an upgrade for the Agency).
The Arsenal is a personal gun shop with a 5% discount on all weapons, ammo, and gear.
The Heavy Rifle is a slightly improved version of the Improved Rifle. Her appearance in the game is a miracle! The Heavy Rifle was cut from GTA 5, but Rockstar brought it back to the player’s arsenal.
Multiplayer stun gun has a very long cooldown between shots (12 seconds) compared to what we can see in the story campaign of GTA V… I would call this weapon for trolling – to shoot at the player and while he twitches funny, shoot him or whack him with a golf club.
A compact EMP grenade launcher was planned to combat flying motorcycles Pegassi Oppressor MkII, but in fact, grenades with an electrical pulse fly like ordinary explosive grenades. There is almost no chance of getting into a fidgety motorcycle. In addition, the developers failed to work out the ammunition – leaving it with a blast wave of a conventional grenade. The result is a controversial weapon occupying a slot in the weapon wheel.
Auto Workshop and Hacker Imani Chips
Players can buy the Auto Workshop (improvement for the Agency) and install special chips on the cars (only new items in the update) – a jammer and a device for remote control. When installing a jammer on your vehicle, the missiles of other players will not be guided, and when equipping the car with a remote control device, you will be able to call it, like a radio-controlled Bandito or Tank.
In the interaction menu, in the “Items” section, a new section “Remote control vehicles” has appeared – RC Bandito, RC Tank and your car have been moved there.
Calling a car with remote control, you move to the cockpit with a first-person view. At the same time, you and the car disappear from the radar. What can you do? Shoot down, ram, blow up players (your car is equipped with a built-in explosive device)! By the way, if you are blown up by a victim player, then recovery will be free, but if you make a fatal explosion, you will pay for insurance from $ 20,000.
By the way, call Imani and ask her to hide your tag from other players. She will set up a 500 meter area around you. In this area, no one can see you, but if you attack another player, you will become visible to other players. The cost of the service is $ 12,000.
Other changes in multiplayer
Let’s start with what collectors are offered collect new USB sticks with rare music… Hairdressers have learned to do new hairstyles for male and female characters (one for each gender) and 14 more new face paints. Players will be able to boast of new 28 tattoos, and if this is not enough, then over 300 items of clothing for two genders have been brought up to multiplayer.

The crazy speeds of the cars from the Los Santos Tuners update have now been fixed – they’ve got additional physics deceleration flags, drift wheels no longer affect the increase in the maximum speed of these cars. The regular Karin Kuruma has become pierceable again (Rockstar has made a change to the model collision).
You will again need a partner to open the warehouse doors during the robbery of El Rubio’s mansion.
The developers have fixed several issues related to transaction errors on the PC.
