Acclaimed Russian animator Konstantin Bronzit shared a snapshot alongside Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio during the annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon. Both artists attended the prestigious event as celebrated contenders for the upcoming awards.
“And here we are, 10 years later…” Bronzit captioned the photograph.
Bronzit is currently in the running for an Academy Award for his animated short “Three Sisters,” submitted under the pseudonym Timur Kognov. Meanwhile, DiCaprio has been recognized in the Best Actor category for his role in “Battle for Battle.” This marks Bronzit’s third time on the final shortlist, following his previous nominations for “Lavatory Lovestory” in 2009 and “We Can’t Live Without Cosmos” in 2016.
The 9xth Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in Los Angeles on March 15.
