Community Content — Exhibit, Volume 21

Welcome to the expanded edition of our community newsletter. While we’ll continue featuring a rotating selection of mods in each issue as with our earlier editions, this new format goes further — offering deeper coverage of community content, including streamers, long-form videos, short clips, and artwork from fans.

Before we dive into our PAX recap, a quick announcement from a partner: GLID Gaming is organizing a Ready or Not tournament in just under a week. You can find full details and join their community on Discord: https://discord.gg/zvRSfr7hcC

The Booth

Over the Labor Day weekend, VOID Interactive returned to PAX West in Seattle with our first purpose-built, full-scale booth. We were fortunate to secure a high-visibility spot across from PAX Arc, adjacent to the Capcom booth — a location that significantly increased foot traffic and exposure.

Historically we’ve sent team members to industry events to meet partners and discuss opportunities; our most notable public showing prior to this was a limited appearance at DreamHack 2019 with one of the earliest playable builds. For the console launch, however, we wanted a proper presentation that showcased the game to a broader audience.

This was our booth at DreamHack 2019:

For many attendees, this was their first exposure to our game — particularly console players — and it was fascinating to observe how people from varied gaming backgrounds approached the experience. We saw horror enthusiasts, casual players who rarely touch first-person shooters, and seasoned shooter fans alike, each engaging with the scenarios in distinct ways.

We connected with fans at every stage of their Ready or Not journey: newcomers who became supporters after a single demo, and long-time backers who showed up with proof of purchase and shipping notifications for supporter merchandise ordered years ago. Meeting players across that spectrum was genuinely rewarding.

We plan to increase our presence at live events and expand our merchandise offerings. Several items debuted at PAX, most notably a collaboration with Starforge PCs on a custom Ready or Not-themed case that will be available for purchase next year. Additionally, LSPD patches and new desk mats were revealed at the show and are slated for upcoming release.

Those four days were unforgettable: we met fellow developers, content creators, industry professionals, and thousands of enthusiastic players. We’re excited to keep meeting new and returning fans as Ready or Not continues to grow.

Moving forward, we’re eager to explore more ways to serve and celebrate our community through events and merchandise — none of this would be possible without your ongoing support.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to everyone who continues to play Ready or Not.

Keep your feet on the ground.
