Welcome to the enhanced version of our community newsletters! Like previous editions, we will spotlight various mods, but we’ll also delve deeper into community creations such as streams, videos, shorts, and artwork!
Today, we’ll reveal the winners of the mapping competition and provide insights into our judging process, which was exclusively conducted by the development team.
First, we’re thrilled to announce the official launch of our new merchandise line!
Currently servicing North America, our partners are swiftly expanding to ensure affordable shipping options globally by year’s end.

We’ve listened to your feedback from the trial run and made significant improvements. This is just the beginning; we’ll roll out more merchandise as production progresses. We’ve also included something special for our most loyal supporters. You know where to find more information about that.
The competition was fierce, with only a couple of standouts that had remarkable concepts and backend features, though fell slightly short in presentation. We’ll begin our analysis from third place, leading up to first.
Third Place: Neon Tomb Remastered by Vegriv
The surface may resemble the original, but it masks the extensive work transforming Neon from a modern club vibe to a setting that evokes 1990s Vegas.
The design sprawls like a web, centering on the pool and bar island, with sprawling extensions forming a labyrinth of intrigue. The main pathway leads to a vast, beautifully dangerous pool area. Many testers initially found themselves surrounded by armed Hand members. Exploring alternative routes reveals Vegriv’s meticulous redesign, staying true to Neon’s essence while altering the map’s overall look.
The hallway, in particular, stands out, though we’ll avoid spoilers to preserve the experience. It was an aesthetic highlight for many judges, especially our art team.
Second Place: Shattered Nerve by Delta and StenTheAwesome
The smallest submission, reminiscent of Sullivans Slope in size and suspect count, is richly detailed.
Uniquely, you’re not only greeted by fellow officers already engaging suspects but can also dispatch team members to a second spawn point. This allows a strategic dual-pronged approach against notorious criminals.
Upon approaching the house, you’ll encounter another first: the Bearcat is used as a breach assistance vehicle, facilitating D-Platoon’s approach. The house is perilous even before entering, with potential fire from upper windows and traps hidden amongst garden décor.
Inside, further traps await, including a custom AI-scripted machine gun nest on the first stairway. Explorative players can find ladder prompts to outmaneuver the gunner.
Nearing the secondary position, discover the Left Behind iconography and a poignant tribute to a fallen soldier.
At the primary position, witness both the chaos necessitating D-platoon’s response and the beautiful Los Suenos vista.
First Place: Homeland by Lumoize and MrEman
Revitalizing the old station has always been a design win, but their approach elevates it to new heights. Lumoize and MrEman transformed a safe haven into a deadly maze.
Overflowing with intricate details, Homeland elevates itself from merely ‘good’ to exceptional. The thoughtful placement of prayer mats, interactive Easter eggs, and training courses referencing The Hand’s actions distinguish this map.
Ranked among the greatest in Ready or Not mapping, alongside Sanctum’s Deceit, we’ll keep this review succinct to avoid adding more length to the newsletter.
Lumoize and MrEman truly outdid themselves with their meticulous attention to detail.
We eagerly anticipate what the community will contribute as we update the game, providing modders with more tools to enhance their creations.
